Everything we do must be “Christcentric.” It must pertain to the efforts of men and women being directed toward Christ, first to know, then to grow. Everything we do must be with consideration of how does this serve our community.

The opportunities afforded us are tremendous. However, to meet the challenges that lie ahead, you and I must move beyond our comfort zones. We must realize that Heart of Mercy Community Church is not my church nor your church; it is God’s Church. We will do whatever, however, whenever, and go wherever God calls us.

What Will It Take?

When a young religious man came to Jesus and asked, “what must I do?” Jesus responded, “Let go of everything you thin you need, meet the needs of others, follow my example, and then you will know what life is really about.”

The question that propelled me into ministry three years ago now stands before this church: Are willing to give up being who we are that we may become who He is? This is the essence of Christlikeness.

Let our prayer be, “Lord as we move forward, let your spirit rein in all things that we do. In His Holy Name, Jesus Christ.”
